Approval of I-485 petition during transition /Layoff situation

Hi,

Could you provide some input on situation, where applicant (I-485 has been pending over 540 days at VSC) is in the process of changing employer because of current company re-organization? Also what happens, I-485 gets approved when the applicant loses job?

---- Get new job with the job title/skills as on your past employer LC, if EAD not used join new employer by H1 transfer, try to get the approved LC copy, I-140, I-485 filing receipt before you leave.
If the I-485 is approved at that time you should be working with past employer or new Employer and may be able to use AC21
