Even after 17 days of my I-140 EB1-EA approval I have not received the approval notice yet. I called TSC, they said our system says we have mailed you the approval notice on Aug 25th, you can wait for 30 days, if you did not received after 30 days then request for duplicate (form I-824=$340). I have not changed my address. Please let me know anybody have similar situation?

Congrats... Did you change your address? USCIS will send you mail to the address they have on file. USPS will not forward USCIS' mail if you happen to have changed your address.

Did you apply yourself or thru a lawyer? generally they send it to the lawyer and a complementary copy to the applicant.

Thank you eb1a-query and JerIst

I have not changed my address. This is self filed petition. In the part1 of the I-140 I have enter my home address only (and not mentioned my institute name) I called TSC and the IO reads correct home address and they posted on Aug. 25th. I do not know why I have not received yet. Any possibility they have lost my approval notice in the mail room?

Anything is possible with the USCIS. I guess, if you do not receive it in a few days you have to ask for a duplicate copy.

Hello EB10182006,

Congrats.

I see that your EB2-NIW filed in OCT 2006 @NSC has been approved in April? That was real quick. Mine has a receipt notice date of OCT 24th 2006, and yet nothing has happened. Is your EB2-NIW information posted at trackitt? I found this profile of yours:

Do you suggest me doin something about this? Did you request to expedite your application or something like that?

Thanks

Hi JerIst,

I hope your I-140 application will be processed and approved soon. I did not request to expedite my application and I don’t know how they approved in six months (may be random case). Processing time for EB2-NIW at NSC is Aug. 3, 2006; I hope the date will move fast. You could call them and send email to inquire about your case status. Good luck with your application.

Hi Skvadivel, My I-485 is based on EB2-NIW now I am preparing the request to interlink my I-485 with EB1-EA, how is your case going? Good luck.

EAD card and approval notice Not received so far

Hi friends

I have received the approval notice after 35 days. I feel email request to the PP center works better than phone, they have sent another approval notice.

EB10182006

congrats EB10182006, Please give me the email address to the PP center so that i can also give email stating my case.My EAD was approved on 9/11,card production ordered. Online status shows that approval notice was mailed on 9/13. But so far neither of them were received. I took infopass, the lady said i have to wait two weeks or have to apply again. I called 1-800-375 number, they said I have to wait 30 days from the date of sent. It is almost 30 days. If i call them they would say they cant help since it was already mailed. I never moved any where. USCIS might have entered a wrong address and the mail might have slept in somebody's mail box without bothering to return it. I just spoke to the customer service today, she told me to go to the local service center. Already they said to reapply again going through all this hardship one more time. I dont know what to do? Please help us to get rid of this situation.

Hi JC-GC

I am sorry to learn that you did not receive the EAD. I’ve used TSC-Premium.140@dhs.gov email address to request for my I-140 approval notice, I am not sure it will work for EAD. At TSC they have mail room problem. You may try this email card-push.tsc@dhs.gov (this is for GC card, may work for you). Good luck.

Hi jc-gc

I am sorry i did not notice your case is in NSC. I got the following message from a NAFSA Liaison Meeting Q and A.

I-765 Issues

Q. One of the most frequent student problems we encounter are EAD cards being returned to the TSC because of address problems or being lost in the mail. The process for returned cards works fairly well; however, when cards are lost in the mail, the process can be confusing and lengthy. There have been reports of cases in other Service Centers that, when an EAD has been lost in the mail, the Service Center has been willing to replace the lost EAD without requiring the applicant to file a new application for replacement EAD. Can you please clarify TSC policy on such a situation? Would TSC be willing to reissue the card without the filing of a new application?

A. If the card is returned to TSC, then a request can be made to resend the card with an address update. Unfortunately, if the card is not returned to TSC, TSC has to assume that it has been lost and the petitioner will have to refile the application with new fee.

Thank you very much.I have to give email to NSC not TSC.
Any way thanks,
jaychandin.
