All,
My 485 got approved on Aug 19th (RD May 10 2002)
I still haven't received my approval notice (both copies).
Is it normal that it takes more than 2 weeks
Let me know

Generally it should take about this time to get the approval. Check with your Lawyer as he may have received a copy.
 
My lawyer haven't received his copy yet.
Gorilla I have done my FP2 in Mar 10th 2004.

Wait for a week or so and if you haven't recieved it by then, you can take a print out of the Approval from the Official CIS website and also take copies of your approval emails (In case if you have registered ) and try to get stamping using the above mentioned documents.

You can also call the NCSC to let them know that you have not received your Approval notice and see if they can help. Generally they are useless and they offer no solution.

BTW. Did you changed your address recently ?

But i will wait for a week and if not I will try to use the email copy.

Take email and as well as the Approval Notice on the CIS website that way you have mutiple documents to prove about your approval. Good Luck !
