Approval notice sent msg - is this the approval?

Received the "Card production ordered" emails on 6/7 and 6/10, and "approval notice sent" emails today. Does this mean my GC is approved? If so, I have received these emails only for me and my daughter, but not for my spouse. Is this normal? Please suggest!

Congrats !. Yes, this is approval if that email refers to I-485 . When you did last finger printing and was this a trannsfer case from VSC to TSC ?

It is for 485, and is not a transfer. Did 1st FP in June of 2005 and 2nd FP on May 5th of 2007.
 
congrats ...wait 1 or 2 days for ur wife approval mails , after call TSC for ur wife case .

happed to me also i got mails for me and my wife ..not for my son , next day i got mails for all approval notice sent .

Not sure about it. Called TSC couple of times, but they wouldn't give the information. How can I find out?
 
Has any one received the Approval notice yet? I got the card but not the notice! Does that go to the lawyer?
 
Not quite true. I485 is your petition and you should also get an approval notice.

BUT, why in the world do you need that when you already have the card in your hand? Just chill out my freind. If I was in your place I would not even care.

Your green card is approved. That is all that you need to care. Approval notice can come later, whenver later that may be and it does not change a thing for you.

Didn't receive cards - similar case

I got the approval notice on 06/06 and status says "Approval Notice Sent". Yesterday we received another notice for biometrics - Code 2, any idea what this is for, I am thinking it'll be for passport stamping. Did anyone get a biometrics notice after 485 approval notice????
