Approval notice after Plastic Cards received

Hi,
I just want to share how INS is working. Yesterday I have received approval notice (dated 10/17/05). Showing that my application is approved on 10/17 and I need to get the FPs done by before go for stamping.

But my stamping was done on 09/01 and received cards on 10/01.

How could you go to do stamping without your approval notice? Can you share your experience?

This is a transfer case. I believe he got stamped right there after his interview and didn't have to wait for the official approval notice.
