Approval from TSC Finally on 485!

Hello All ,

Finally approval came my way after a long 5 Years waiting , See info below for more information , Also just to let you all know that I didn't get any LUD until today which was my approval the last LUD was when I get my FP done the Next day.

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On January 5, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case
status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or
advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please
contact the National Customer Service Center.
Good luck to you all and hope that you rec goods new soon .

Congratulations on the final waiting step for gc.

Can you please tell us if incase you were stuck in name check ,

a) you put any expedite request to ins
b) contacted any local congressman/senator
c) did you write/contact fbi for expediting name check

etc or you were quite lucky to get this quick?

I filed 485 @tsc in nov 05 and would be interested in your answers.

ASH777, DID U HAVE ANY INTERVIEW? DID U GET TRANSFERED FOR A REGIONAL CENTER AND/OR TRANSFERED BACK TO VSC B4?

I was about too if I didn't get any updates by the end of Jan 06
c) did you write/contact fbi for expediting name check
I did sent an e-mail to Name dept but didn't get any reply since they no longer assist in this manner (e-mail) Contacted FBI once 2 weeks after the FP and was told that info was sent to USCIS that same day, but that's it didn't do anything more that the above.

etc or you were quite lucky to get this quick? I must say I was or it was time since my PD came availble recently and TSC was working on cases 25 dys after my RD so I also believe it was time for my case to be approved.

At current they are working on case with RD/ND of 06/27 hopefully by the end of Jan they may move to July 25 or so , you have approx another 3-4 mths to go , also is your PD current ??
