Approval Dates: Suggestions/Speculations/Comments Please post here

My RD is Sept 12, 2001, done FP, AVM Message received FP processing Resumed.

According to the ongoing pattern of approvals by the application RD\'S
here is what we see.

Jan 2002 -->(All 2001 ) Jan, Feb, March
Feb 2002 -->(All 2001)April, May, Some June or maybe complete
             June!!?.
March 2002 --> (All 2001 ) July, August, Sept ?

So by this pattern can I expect approval in March or sometime
early April.
 
Since EB3 became current in July 2001

March may see he backlog of June 2001 cases being cleared with a few July 2001 cases.

I would say sometime in May 2002 for Sept cases.
 
It could be june

or july for Sept cases as all dates became current in july ,
there could be more applications in july than in june . That
might slow down a bit .
 
so to extrapolate for Oct Rds...

at san jose, when can I expect the FP notice ? ( OCt 9 RD, Nov 9 ND )
and maybe 6-8 weeks after that is approval ?

I am planning a trip in may, hope to come back in 3 weeks, is
that safe ?

I still haven\'t received my FP notice - oct 2 RD, oct 12 ND...Oakland ASC. Seems like Oakland is trying to \'catch up\' with San Jose in terms of sending FP notices. The only consolation is that i\'m not an exception according to Pcee\'s tracker...there\'s a few others with Oct RD\'s from Oakland that are still waiting...so you do the math for San Jose .

Also i wouldn\'t get my hopes too high for getting an approval 6-8 weeks from FP...EB3 became current in July and i\'m sure the rate of approvals will slow down considerably to keep up with the number of AOS petitions received in the July-Aug period.

Do i sound like a pessimist...i\'ve learnt it\'s better to be a pessimist and be pleasantly surprised than be an optimist and be disappointed all the time :)
