Both my wife and I received the approval notice on 02/11/02. We are required to have PP stamped. My son, 9 years old, got the welcome notice. He was told that he will recieve the card in three weeks and no further actions are needed.

Got the approval notice in the mail today

Courtsey Notice recieved on 02/14/02.

I am planning to visit the local INS tommorow to get my passport stamped.

in Virginia? My friend will go to Arlington to stamp tomorrow.

INS office schedule for stamping

My notice is saying:stamping between Monday and Thursday. How can you get your stamping on Friday? I am in Chicago.By the way, next Monday INS office is close for president holiday.

I would be going to the Arlington office tommorow. Does your friend has the approval letter or just the courtesy copy.

My courtesy copy says the office is open Monday to Friday 7:30 to 11 AM.

You may be in Arlington office now with my friend. She received Attorney\'s copy yesterday everning(2/24/02). So she went with it
this morning. But I used courtesy copy 3 months ago. It\'s OK. When I received copy from attorney, I already got PP stamped.
