Approval after RFE from CSC ?

I have received RFE for submitting W-2s, Paystubs and employment verification letter. I am planning to send it to INS tomorrow. Am wondering how much time it would take before I see an approval from CSC INS office.
Has anyone experienced this situation and seen case getting approved.

Was there a merger or buyout in your company ??
Your PD is not that old , 9/98 and ND is recent 01/01.

There was a buyout but my I-140 is done by new company although my labor was filed by old one and in my lawyer\'s words "I wouldn\'t even worry about it-your file already documents the acquisition" , acquisition should not be a problem at all.

 I think the RFE was due to the fact that my GC started more than 2 yrs ago. Thanks so much for you concern/question

I received RFE for W-2s etc. in Feb 01. Replied to INS 03/01.(early March)
Still haven\'t got any response from CSC.
Not even the AVM has been updated to reflect receipt of RFE response.

As far as I\'m concerned RFE processing seems to be very slow at CSC! :(

I got RFE for I140 redo - sent new 140 in Feb 3rd week, AVM has been updated - but nothing after that.

rk005, what does the message say? do you provide your 485 WAC number to get status of amended I-140? Or is it a new WAC number?

you get a new receipt no for the amanded i-140. you can use that to check the status of the 140.

I got RFE on Feb12th and I have replied in the end of Feb. AVM got updated on Mar5th.
My lawyer told me that getting RFE is a good sign that they are looking at your case.

My PD is 07/16/1998, EB3, India, ND 08/26/1999, CSC

Since my PD is 2 weeks behind and it will become current next month, FPs done
twice, RFE is done, I am expecting to receive my I485 approval in 3-4 months.

My lawyer said she will talk to the IIO once PD becomes current and ask
them to start working on my Case.

I mean when did INS say they sent it ? When did you
receive it.
In my case AVM says RFE sent on Apr 18th.. till this
date my lawyer hasn\'t received it. I was wondering
how long does it take to get it ?

When did you reply to your RFE, when did you first receive did and how long it took for them to say they received (avm update) and finally when did it get approved?

Received RFE first week Feb. 01
Replied to RFE in first week March. 01
AVM was NEVER updated to reflect receipt of RFE reply.
(It kept saying "Request for addl. evidence was sent on...")
It changed straightaway to approved on 30th April.
Took about 60 days from reply to approval.

I got RFE in February asking for W2\'s for last 3 yrs and last few pay Pay Stubs. I sent back my response with in 5 days. It took INS a month to Update AVM and then 10 days to approve I485

RFE 2/8/01
Received notice 2/16/01
FedX response 2/21/01
AVM updated 3/20/01
Approval 4/3/01

Hi RK is there any news on your I140 redo.
Mine has similar dates. My RFE reply was sent in Feb01. The new I-140
has a ND of Feb, 11, 2001.
So far no news. The I140 (redo) is pending. I485 message is
same, "On feb 9th we received your reply....."

please update if there is any news
