approval after additional review mail ..

I just received response to my SR I created on June 18th.. It says..
"Actively processing the case....performing additional review...wait 60 days"..

Did anyone had any experience of getting approved before the stated
time on SR response ?

Check the following thread about Extended Review for the SR says, Additional Review.
It may take longer to get approved once you are in Extended Review. That's what I am seeing from this thread. I am also waiting to see some one with additional review got approved.

But your case spouse got approved. Without approving the primary how can they approve the derivative if you are in extended review? You can call them and ask about your case.

It is kinda surprising that they approved the derivative before the primary. I also received '..additional review...180 days' message from USCIS today. I hope you get your approval soon.
