Appr Notice Recd 9/30. What audit?!

Notwithstanding the supposed audit, VSC is approving cases and mailing notices.

My case was approved on 9/25, 2 months and 16 days after INS received my RFE response. After months of frustration checking the AVM everyday, I decided to give myself a break using this audit as the excuse. I was pleasantly surprised to see the approval notices in my mailbox today (9/30). I checked my status online today and it says that approval notice was mailed on 9/25.

Here are my full details:

PD: Jan 2000
RD: July 11, 2001
ND: Aug 24, 2001
FP: Dec 7, 2001
RFE Issued: June 13, 2002
RFE Response Received by INS: July 9, 2002
Approved: Sept 25, 2002.

RFE was for G325A (biographic information)

My guess is that today is the first day of the audit; no approvals will be entered into the CLAIMS system starting today. Your case was approved on 9/25, pre-audit.
 
Audit clarification

The file movement was supposed to slowdown after 23rd and cease after 28th. Yours was a lucky case that somehow made its way out.

I dont think there will be "approvals" from sep 28th to Oct 8th.

BTW my "non-ident" message seems to have dissappeared... curious to know if it happened to others as well :confused:
