Appointment Scheduling- are no dates available for March or have they not opened up yet?

Hi guys,

Will really appreciate your help with this. I booked my tickets to India - I'll be in India between 17th Feb to 6th March 2011.

I am in the US on F1 visa since 2007 and started working in Feb 2010 and got my H1 visa which started in October 2010. Now, as I am looking to the VFS website to get dates for my H1 stamping, they don't have anything available between 17th Feb to 6th March in ANY consulate office in India. Does that mean that all the dates in that period have been taken or does that mean they haven't opened those slots yet. Please advice ASAP so that I can cancel my tickets and not lose lots of money. :-(
 
I am also looking for Visa appointments for H1 B stamping in mumbai, couldn't find the available dates yet. Any pointers on how this system works? when will the dates in march 2011 will be open?
