Appointment at Vancouver (YVR)

Hi everyone,

I was wondering I anyone has crossed the border at VYR recently and applied for a new TN. I am going next week and when I called it said I need an appointment. I feel like it might be too late to make an appointment so I just wanted to know if anyone has had any recent experiences.

Are you talking about the PFI at the airport? Never heard of appointments at airports. Nor of even calling them. You just show up a couple of hours (or 3) before your flight.
 
I apologise but I don't know what PFI means. I have also never heard of people making appointments at the Vancouver Preclearance Customs before. I may have gotten it mixed with other airports or POE?

I have received all of my TNs at the YVR airport and I have never needed an appointment. I just thought it may have changed due to covid. Thank you for replying and confirming what I thought was the case.
