applying I140&I485 with different employers

Can we apply for I140&485 simultaneously with two different employers. If so what happens. I have applied for a fresh labour with my current employer and waiting for approval, after labour approval i want to apply for 140&485 and i also have a preapproved labour from a different employer for which i wanted to apply for I140&485. as i have few months left on my H1 i want to go ahead with both processing. please give your advise.

I don't think so. A rule of thumb is:

A labor application is company specific.
I-140 belongs to the applicant and company
I-148 belongs to the applicant

When you file any of the above petitions you are required to submit a letter of employment. When the applications come up for adjudication there might be issues because of this.
