Applying for TN visa

Hi there,

I am currently on H4 visa and temporary residing here in TX. My husband was transferred by same company from Canada. We own a house apparently. I was on L2 visa and worked as a nurse. 2 months ago my working permit expired and can't be renewed. My husband's company change his visa to H1B and as the spouse, I can no longer work. My hospital will not sponsor me for H1B visa. I am on my way to Canada to apply for TN visa so I can go back to work. Will owning a house be a burden for my application? How long it takes at the border? I am scared missing my flight.

Why would house be a burden. H4's are allowed to live in US, as are TNs, so you will get TN. Just make sure you have all your medical Visa screens (which I'm sure you would have had working under L2)
