Applying for TN VISA while Driving a Leased US Car

Hi,
I have had a TN Visa for 3 years now and I need to get a new one this year for a new company. I have a leased car from US and drove it to Canada. Is it going to be a problem if I cross the border from Canada to US with my leased US car to apply for a TN VISA? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

No problem. You are living in the US, and are thus expected to have a US owned and registered car.

The problem is when Cdn residents rent cars in US and then try to drive into canad. This is forbidden.
