Hello all!
After one get citzenship and wants to apply for a greencard for their sister, whats the process?

I believe it should be through the I-130 form and then though I-485, but the cutoff dates for this type of visa (4th category, "All Areas Except Those Listed") is now 01 DEC 95.

1) Will she get a temporary visa or temporary greencard once I-130 is aproved?

2) Does she need to be in-status with a valid visa during the process?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Once you file I-130 for her, it will be about 12 years till she will be able to get an immigrant visa.

If she is already in the States in a legal non-immigrant status, she will need to maintain it until her priority date becomes current (11-12 years) and then she will be able to apply for AOS (I-485).

She does not get any legal status or temporary GC or a temporary visa after I-130 approval.
