I am a citizen and want to sponsor my parents. However I am not employed but my spouse is (I quit my job 3 yrs ago to be with my kid at home). The form asks for my individual income, savings and such. How do I go about doing this to ensure my parents get the greencard? Please help.

Thanks.

You must file the form yourself and also have your wife to file hers. She might use form A.

If your wife makes enough income to support you, your parent, you will be fine.

You file as sponsor and spouse files as supplemental (joint) sponsor as well. There is an issue that the spouse needs to be aware of; if the two of you divorce or separate, that does not invalidate the sponsorship requirement.
