Applying for Naturalization before Green Card expires in May

Hello,

So I had a few questions. I've had a Green Card for the past 10 years and it is expiring in May. I want to apply for my Naturalization as soon as possible since I have lived in the US for well over 30 months since I got my green card in 2003.

However, within the last 5 years, I have stayed outside the US for about 1070 days due to a study abroad program and because I had to visit my parents who live outside the US. No trip lasted longer than 4 months. Am I still eligible to apply?

Also, I had a re-entry permit from 2003 - 2006 (I was finishing high school outside the US). When I moved to the US in 2006, my re-entry permit was taken away and so I have no travel information between those years since all my stamps were on the re-entry. Should I not include information of travel on my N-400 for those years?

And lastly, if I file for Naturalization within the next few weeks and my Green Card expires after I file but during the processing time, is that okay?

Any information on these questions would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

No. 1070 days are way above half of 5 years. You have to wait sometime to let some of these 1070 days out of past 5 year window

In the last 5 years you have to have physical presence in USA at least 914 days(Catering for 2 leap years in 5, otherwise 913 days) at the time of application, interview and oath ceremony. USCIS may reject the application on this ground.

No option but to extend GC.
