Applying for H4 without H1 stamp in passport(only with 797)

not full deails provided if you are in US working on H1 or out of US and did got H1 visa stampHello all
I got my h1 approved recently but not yet stamped on passport. Is that mandatory to get H1 stamped before h4 interview as my spouse is going for the interview next month.

Iam in US changed OPT to H1. Recieved approval notice recently, not yet stamped.

If you are in US working on H1 status and you dont have H1 visa stamp in your passport your wife can get H4 stamp
