Applying for H4 too soon

I am an H1 visa holder w/ stamp on my passport. I have met a childhood friend and started to have relationship last Dec 2004. We now have decided to get married in my hometown this Oct 2005. And I would like to return to US with him if possible. If not it's not possible (with my short vacation) I stil want him to apply right away so we can be together the soonest.

Is applying for H-4 visa right after marriage(wedding) creates a notion that it is an arranged marriage? If so how does one prove that it is not an arrange marriage but one of love. Is there a lot of people doing that (applying for H4 right after marriage)? Are there no problem having it approved? What are the questions being asked in the interview (especially abt applying too soon)? Is the short-term relationship (less than 1 year) an issue too? Has anybody experience such situation? Pls help! thanks...
 
your would be can attend the h4 right after the marrage. it is not a problem for attending for h4 imm after the marrage. only thing is u have to take the related doc when appering for the h4. 1) marrage cirtificate 2) marrage photos, 3) wedding card and other your supporting documents like W2 and paystubs.
 
This reply might be a little late. But anyways, i just want to post here that we waited for 2 months after getting married. Primarily because we're also not ready for the interview since we were so busy preparing for the wedding. Got married on October and flew back to US after 2 weeks. By December, my husband went to his interview by himself. He major questions he was asked were: How we met, Who are the primary sponsors of our wedding(w/c he memorized 10 names from our wedding invitation.) And besides marriage certificate, he was also asked to show a picture of me at my work and of course our wedding pictures/album. My husband is here in the US with me now. It's been four months now. Thanks a lot for all the help! And goodluck to the rest of you out there!
 
arranged marriage and H4 visa?!

Is there a problem if my wife applies for H4 visa based on an arranged marriage?
I met her in Europe and we made an engagement ceremony back home, but we didn't have any marriage. Now I have sent her the appropriate papers so she can get the marriage license before applying for visa.
Will this cause any problem for her interview?

Nothing hurts for an arranged marriage. Just take the appropriate documents / photos for H-4 stamping. Remember, you have to maintain H-1B status so that your wife obtain H-4.
