applying for H4 next week

I'm planning to apply H4 for my wife at Chennai consulate next week.I appreciate if anyone wants to give any advice to me.(i.e documetns etc.,)

Take these..

1) your original H1 approval.
2) your complete clear passport photocopy with the visa ..corresponding to the H1 approval.
3) original marriage certificate.
4) Marriage photos ( many of them...that show all the ceremony and lots of people around ).
5) Marriage invitation cards.
6) Current letter from your employer that shows you are employed right now, 2-3 paystubs , tax returns and W2 for past year ( since chennai is paranoid ).

Ideally only 1 and 3 will be needed, maybe 4 and 5...but with all 6 you are in the clear no matter what..best of luck.
 
Your H1B approval notice, your complete I-129 petition (including LCA that was filed by your employer for your H1B (ask the company lawyer to certify this), company letter that you are employed by them and your skill set and salary should be mentioned, all the pages of your passport, photographs of your company (exterior and interior) recent 4-5 pay stubs, send the copy of your recent I-94 ( both the sides)Marriage certificate

She has to fill up form, pay the fees attach her photograph (new photo specification). For more info go to US consulate site and read.
