Applying for green card based on asylum, medical examination waiver...

Hello friends,

This is my first post in this forum. I found a lot of help here and great answers to some complicated questions. My question is also somewhat complicated and my situation in general is very specific.

I applied for green card based on asylum. I filed the waiver of inadmissibility, because I did not submit the I-693 with the application. I was scheduled the biometrics and later received the notice that my application is incomplete and the I have to submit the I-693.

The reason why I did not submit I-693 and did not go to medical examination is the following. My mother is an orthodox Christian Scientist. That's the religion, where we do not interact with medicine (in short words). Therefore, in all my life, I have never been to the doctor, never had an injection or any form of medical test. There is another reason, due to this religious nature of my life, I developed an severe phobia of anything medical, including doctors, blood, injections, hospitals... When my wife has to go to her regular check up or my daughter, I just stay outside and wait for them.

So right now, it is like a nightmare for me to even think about that there is a medical examination between me and green card.

That's why initially I filled the waiver, but it looks like it was not even considered :/ Please, friends, what will you recommend me to do in my situation? Are there any options for me?

By the way, my wife, was my asylee dependent, and she got her green card couple of months ago and my daughter is a citizen.... It's only me now, fighting my believes and fears all together :/ Desperately need your advices!

farukn ,first let me point out something important ,i am not judging you on your belief but what you need to know is that if you came here ,you came to follow the rules and not to give rules ,so if the green card needs medical exams from you ,you gotta give them if not you would not have that green card and you will stay at the same spot for ever.Secondly ,in the laws of green card ,i mean medical exams for green card ,there is no waiver based on religion ,what i mean is that it is something they will always have to do whatever the conditions .Thirdly ,they cannot accept giving you the green card if you dont do that step.Lastly ,i dont understand how medical exam will affect you or your religious belief simply because take for example ,your daughter is seriously ill ,and she is on the point to die and the hospital is just beside your house ,will you stay and look her die like that or will you rush to the hospital to save her life??the answer is left on your side. But i assure you that God will bless you if you bring her to the hospital ,God is there for us but you always need to make the first step before he intervenes ,just imagine if you live her die ,do you think God will accept that ??i dont think so ,even in the Bible ,you will see that when Jesus was always beaten by the soldiers there were people trying to wipe the blood coming out of his body ,that is also a way of healling .
All i want to make you understand is that you need to go for the medical exam if not you will stay at the same spot for ever and i don't want to judge your religion but i think that it is insane to say that you dont have to go to the hospital and see at what point your wife is already at ,she already has a green card but you are still left behind ,am Catholic by the way
Good luck with that

Please, you did not read my post carefully. First of all, do not judge someone about their religious beliefs. Second, THERE IS in fact a waiver based on religious beliefs that applies for vaccinations. Third, if you read my thread carefully, my problem is not based on my religious beliefs. I would certainly follow the rules and go for the medical examination inspite of any religious beliefs that I have, but my problem is based on my phobia that I have got because of such life style. And it might be easy for you to say "follow the rules", but I was dealing with this for 25 years and it is not so easy to just go and do it. Please, read the post if you trying to help, if not, do not judge.
