I will be applying for F1 visa soon. I already have an H1 but not yet stamped on my passport. I worked on that H1 for a year and was on leave for a year as I was working on my MS thesis. I like to know what should I tell the reason to the consular for not apply for an H1 and if I get the F1 visa what will be the status of the H1. Can use the same H1 to work again in US.
