Applying for EAD after reaching US in L2 VISA

Hi friends,
I need your help for some of the VISA related queries.

I will be travelling to US in L1 Visa.My wife will be accompanying me in L2 VISA sponsored by my company.
She is currently working in a different company.
My qn is.
1.After how many days of reaching US,she can apply for EAD?
2.Normaly when the call comes for finger printing after applying online EAD.
3.After giving finger printing,can she come back to home country and work for her current organisation?
4.When the EAD will be approved,then she will resign from her current organization and again travel to USA in L2 VISA?
5.Is SSN number required for getting job(after EAD is approved)?and how much time it takes to get the SSN?

A1: The very same day she gets her L-2 based I-94
A2: That can vary. Worst case is 90 days I believe.
A3: Yes
A4: She can do that.
A5: SSN is needed to get paid. Once she applied for SSN, she can get her number over the phone within a few days.
