Applying for citizenshp after 5 years

We are now due to apply for citizenship after being LPR for 5 years. Do I need to fill form N-400 and apply for my childern who are under 18 too? Thanks for your help!
 
No. People under 18 cannot file N-400. If, when either of you takes the oath, your child is a green card holder, under 18, and living in the US in your legal and physical custody, they automatically and involuntarily become a US citizen under INA 320 the moment all the conditions are met, without needing to file anything. On the other hand, if on their 18th birthday, neither of you have taken the oath yet, they cannot get citizenship through you; they can file N-400 by themself if they wish to naturalize; the earliest they can file is their 18th birthday (assuming they meet all the conditions already).
