Applying for citizenship with 647b misdemeanor

I've had a green card since 1992. I was an escort for a while and one night I got myself into a setup by undercover cops. I was arrested and convicted with 647b (agreeing to prostitution) in 2005. This is my only record and my sentence was minimal - $130 fine, 40 hrs community service and the night I was arrested I was OR released after a couple of hours. Probation was for 1 year. I don't have any missed tax filing or anything else that may be of an issue with naturalization.

1. Should get a lawyer to apply for citizenship, or would I be ok on my own?

2. I'm wondering how my employment record and "rehabilitation" would look to the immigration officer. My employment is solid up till 2002 then after that I'll have to be a little creative. After my conviction, I have a few years of self employment and about 1 year of full time job in 2011. Currently I've had a full time job for a little over 1 year. Has anybody with prostitution record had trouble with employment record or proving rehabilitation? Should I wait and build longer employment record to improve my chances?
