Applying for AP in SFO. Please Help!!!

I never applied for AP along with I485 at VSC. I have EAD card, which was approved 2 months back. Can I go to local San Francisco office and get the AP on same day. I have already booked my tickets to India. Which all documents are required for emergency AP? Any particular format for emergency ???
Any info in this matter is highly appreciated. Please post your experience.
