I-485 filed in August 1999.
Renewed EAD in August 2000.
My wife is currently working with her EAD.
My H1 is valid for another year.
My wives H4 is valid for 2 years.
I read that H4 becomes invalid once we use EAD for work.
We haven\'t filed for Advanced Parole before.
We want to travel to India in December 2000.
Can I file for Advance Parole at VSC?.
Please advise me on how to apply for the advance parole now.

Laws/rules are bit relaxed (from - July 1999) now for I-485 travellers. Talk to your lawyer about your travel situation.

I believe, you (primary applicant) do not need PA. You can travel with I-485 receipt. However, not sure, your wife may need PA.
