What do you need exactly for PCC.
Immihelp says :
If you are currently staying in United States and are going to do consular processing in Mumbai, you need to get the clearance letter from the nearest Indian Consulate or Embassy in the U.S. and nothing from Indian side.
What does this mean ?
 
After 9/11 w.e.f. Feb,02 they are asking PCC at the time of Interview. You must have PCC either from Indian Consulate in US or RPO.
 
Did u get the I824 Receipt?

I heard that I824 receipt in a must, did u get it? if yes, can u tell how long it took for u to get it and what is the process for it?
Appreciate any information.
