Applying for a TD status for a child without the consent of a separated parent

My wife and I are separating and I want to go back to my home country (Israel) with our kids. My wife wants to stay here with the kids. We have 2 children and all the 4 of us are also Canadian citizens. I work on L1 visa and our children currently have L2 visas under me. My wife has a TN status.
The question is - what is the status of our children if I lose/resign my job ? Can my wife unilaterally apply for a TD status for them or does she have to have my consent to that ?
If the children lose their L-2 status due to me quitting my job (and losing my L-1) status, do they have to leave the country ?
 
She can (and should) apply for TD for them, by mailng an I-539 with proof of her TN and copy of birth certs. She can do this unilaterally, so don't be a putz.
