Applying EAD and AP renewal Online

I am thinking of renewing EAD and AP online, just to avoid attorney fees. I have few questions.

1. Is it advisable to apply online or is it better to go thru a attorney. Can somebody share their experiences (who applied online).

2. What is the URL for applying EAD and AP online

3. Is there a difference between renewing EAD/AP online vs an attorney representing your case.
