Applying AOS & H4

My 140 is approved and I am going to India to get married after couple of mths. I also have to get H1B extention stamped in India. I am thinking of filing 485 before marriage (for usual lay-offs reasons).

Does this affect my spouse getting H4?

I think I can't apply AP since H1B will get invalid, is it true?

I am told my spouse can be added to GC application when she enters USA. Is it true?

Is there any other danger in doing this Or is it better to bring wife on H4 & then apply for AOS together?

No your 485 app does not affect h4, assuming you have a current and valid H1 visa stamp or plan to get a H1 visa in home country (alongwith H4).

Neither application for and receipt of EAD or AP invlaidate h1

Yes. Wait till I485 receipt notice is received. Apply for spouse 485 with your I485 receipt letter copy.
