Applying 485 for dependent before Priority Date

Hi,
I applied for 485 on May'04 and got my EAD now. I got married a month back and now I want to apply for my wife. My priority Date is Sep'02. My question is, can I apply now OR do I have to wait until my priority date is current. Anybody knows this kind of case ? Please guide me. Any input is highly valuable.

You need to wait until PD becomes current and if your spouse is here on dependent visa like H4 /L2 you need to maintain H1 status until spouse apply for I-485.
