hi

I got my GC on 10-01-2005(I was Single on that date) , then I had 2 trips outside the US for 8 and 10 (I get Married) months.
now I am in the US from 09-01-2010 up to now(continuous).
I have good credit score, bank account , full time job, insurance, an apartment , ... under my name. also I paid TAX from 2008 up to now every year.

I heard from some one that I can apply for citizenship now , and USCIS does not check my previous trips out side the US because they had not any records of previous years, and they start to recording these thing from last year.

could some one please get some information based on my current situation?

Thanks

If all you have are just these two trips outside US totaling 18 months then you can apply now, you need to have 30 months of presence out of 60 months, you might have to explain your trips over six months but under one year, and as long as you didn't had the intention to abandon your US residence you are OK, and you don't have to play hide the trips game, not only it's not gonna work but if you try to hide they will deny Citizenship for lying under oath and lack of GMC.

Stop living in LaLa Land, they were recording the Trips from a long time and saving the records up to a year before 9/11, now they intend to keep those records until doomsday.

Absolute rubbish. They have records going back more than 15 years.

Perhaps you spoke to somebody who didn't list some trips from before 2009, and they got away with it because they were lucky that USCIS didn't have a record of those trips or didn't bother to search the CBP system for those records.

You should not take that person's experience as a universal truth that will apply to you. For various reasons, travel records are partially missing for some individuals, or the records require more effort to find. You don't know if they have 0% or 50% or 100% of your trip information.

Expect to be able to show sufficient proof of US residency ties for the 8 and 10 months trips. If you didn't maintain a primary US abode during those trips, expect to be denied if you apply now.
