Folks,

I become eligible (5 yrs - 90 days) on Feb 28th but going to apply around Mar 10, 2010 for my citizenship. My contract withmy current company is getting over by Apr 15 and I don't know where I'm going to be. I've live in the current address for 6 years.

Would it be advisable to use a friends address in my N-400 instead of my current one since there is change it might be leased or sold ?

What are your thoughts ?

You are not supposued to do that but I know in real world many do that for understandable reasons.

Use your current address as physical address. You can use your friends address as mailing address..there's nothing illegal about it.

When it is time to apply, you will know what your address is at that time. So write that address. If you move after filing the N-400, you'll need to file a change of address.
