Apply for Advance Parole without I-485 receipt

I filed I-130 & I-485 together and have not
received receipts yet. But I need to apply
for Advance Parole. Can I do that?
 
You cannot apply for AP without submitting proof of your I485, if you have recently filed them, you will have to wait till the BCIS sends you an A#. Thanks
 
I am in a similar situation - they received my I-485 on 3/1/04, and have processed my checks - when should I receive an A# ???

My local office shows they are processing I-485 that were received on 12/28/03 - but if they have deposited my checks, shouldn't I get an A# and proof of receipt?

Hi Tom:

I guess you should wait atleast 3-4 weeks, if they have cashed your checks, probably when you get a copy or check online, see behind, they might have an A# or some kind of receipt #. You should get something in mail soon. Cheers.
