Hello Guys,

Can someone please tell me what is the rational for my I-485 application to be sent to the Texas service center rather where I mailed it to, the Nebraska Service Center. I thought that adjustment of status applications were all directed to Nebraska regardless of the applicants place of residence. I am currently in Boston, MA. Should I worry because the processing dates for Texas say 2001??

Any light you could shed on this would be appreciated.

The same happened to me to when I applied back in April. I was so worried about the processing time in texas too because it is longer than in nebraska by far, but I just got an email saying that my case has been approved :eek: . I don't know how they do it.. It must be pure luck.. ;)
 
Thanks folks for the answers, I guess that things should be ok. I just received my Biometrics appointment letter. it is scheduled within two weeks.

things went pretty fast in my case...i did my FP in less than a month from my RD,and i got my GC in under 6 months!
ya never know it could happen to you.
