Applied permanent Residence from U.S.A

I am green card holder and I am living in TX. I have applied for a permanent residence for canada in Buffalo office in Jan 2006. My case has been moved to Detriot office as on Dec 06. What does it mean for processing my application and how much time it will take to get PR for canada.
 
Need advise

I had applied for canadian PR in July'06 when my I485 was pending. Now I have got US PR. Should I withdraw the application for Candian PR. Will there be any issue to US PR when I get approval from Candadian PR. Need help at the earliest... Appreciated....
