applied I-485 on JAn-15 no response!!!!!!

Hi guys i actually filed my i-485 with VSC on jan-15.. but i haven\'t heard anything from them, I just wanted to ask if any of u guys are in the same pool and also if ther is any way that i can call ins and check to see that my application has been received by them. is ther any phone number to call kindly post.

Just call

802 527 4913, and get to the operator ...and ask about your case. They may take your name or ssn, and will give the info about your case including the EAC number. I got mine in this way back in August 01, and I\'ve seen many people gettnig the info like that.

I do need this information also.

If the above friend\'s case was filed on Jan-15-02, he is in much better situation than I. Because I filed my I-485 on Aug. 21, 01, still haven\'t heard or received any RD yet.

So I do need this information. Thanks a lot, guys.
 
Check the message post in Rajiv\'s homepage. It seems that I am not the only person who has suffered

VSC has asked all I-485 filers who filed their cases before Aug. 28, 01 and haven\'t got the receipts to submit their names, dates of birth, and airbill information to VSC. I guess at least up to this point, my lawyer can\'t be blamed.

Anyway, I resubmitted the check and photos (because VSC told my lawyer that they had other parts but not check and photos) to VSC on Feb. 18. I am still waiting for VSC to cash the check. But my lawyer told me that my other materials are actually in one of the officers\' hands, once the check is cashed, it should go pretty fast. God knows, I really hope so.

did you call an IIO? I have the same mailing date (1/11). Got my receipts at the end of Jan with ND 1/25.
