Applied GC for mother while visiting US on B1 visa

Hi

I applied for my mother's GC here in US while she is visiting us on B1 visa. We applied for her GC less than a month before her I-94 expired. She finished her finger prints but still awaiting her Interview date - plz note her I-94 has expired for several months now. Please note she has not applied for Advance Parole.

She wants to return home (India) asap... What are her options?

1) Can she visit US in future on her B1 visa? (will her visa expire just before she filed for GC?)
2) Is there any way she can request her application to be transferred to US Consulate in home county?

If she has filed for adjustment of status (I-485), her B1 visa is completely useless now.

The case can be transferred to a consulate by filing I-824 after the I-130 is approved. But it will take a few months to get a consular interview, and she'll have to redo the medical* and fingerprinting in her country.


*however she should not have to redo the vaccinations
