Sent on Jan 23rd and got confirmation from USPS that they delivered on Jan 25th 11am.....

Check not cahsed yet ??!?!?!?!?

Trying to Call CSC IIO but couldnt get the line....
What should be done?? any idea?? any similar experience at CSC??

Applied EAD renewal on 02/10

I applied for me and my wife EAD renewals. Checks got encashed and from the check image got the WAC number.

But no receipts.

My theory is:
those who applied during the same time frame using lawyers got the receipts. So, looks like we missed something to attach (like a self-addressed/postage-paid envolopes!!)


Hope to get them soon.

I applied for EAD renewal around jan 24th '03...No receipts received yet...no details from lawyer yet on checks being encashed...

I am applying for EAD renewal and i am sitting on it for somebody to confirm the fees? Is the fees AFTER 02/27/03 $120 or $88. Somebody please answer. i *really* appreciate it...

Applied for AP and EAD renewal for both myself and spouse on Feb 8th. All 4 checks cashed on 12th. AP notices recvd on 13th. Still awiting for EAD notice.

Got the WAC numbers from cashed checks. All 4 WACs are invalid on on-line status. Guess they haven't entered in system yet.
 
This is my conclusion

If you have not applied for EAD renewal thru attorney, you dont get receipts.

Guys, how do we get iEAD in this case.
 
I applied sent my renewal application on 02/04 . Received by INS on 02/05 ,Checks encashed but no receipt yet.

I did not apply renewal through lawyer
 
This is scary. Is BCIS drying to dodge the problem with iEADs? If you don't get a receipt you can't get iEAD. No iEAD means no work !!

All of you guys should call IIOs and get a FAX number for an inquiry. Those who have applied through lawyers should follow this up pretty much every day.

The 'INS sale' is over. Now you pay the original amount for EAD. So that would be $120 in this case.

No receipts for EAD and AP

I applied for EAD and AP, for both my wife and me on Jan 30th. I applied them through my lawyer. Havent heard a thing from INS.
No idea about checks cashing.
 
EAD and AP renewal

Guys,
I guess this question has been asked several times, but guys like me are around to ask again.

My lawyer is charging $900 to renew my wifes EAD and AP - EAD expires on AUG 22' 03 and AP JULY 03. We are going to our home country this month for a month and I am going to use AP as even though my H1 extension has been done but my PP has not been stamped.
My company will pay for my EAD/ap renewal, However for my wife's I plan on doing it myself and save some money.

Question:
- Is there any info or link that will provide info on how to renew my EAD and AP?
- Is there a problem trying to do it myself ( It would be very hard for me to pay $900 )

EAD Receipts Pattern!!

Hi,

Looks like this is a pattern searching month!!!

Anyway, I was curious as to why there was no receipt sent for my EAD renewal. So, I did some very random Online checking on WAC numbers less than my renewal WAC number.

Found some thing interesting:

- For a WAC-03-086-5xxxx, Online Case Status says
" Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was received on January 22, 2003. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 120 and 140 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

Note the line "We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. "

- For a WAC-03-092-5xxxx, Online Case Status is same as above except the RD was January 30, 2003.

- For a WAC-03-097-5xxxx, Online Case Status is same as above except the RD was Feb 6, 2003.

- For my WAC-03-100-5xxxx, Online Case Status says
"Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was received at this office on February 10, 2003. It is taking between 120 and 140 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

Note the line "We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. " is MISSING.

So, looks like they sent receipts for all the cases filed on or before Feb 6th,2003. This might be a NEW Step (sic) in their EAD processing.

Hi,

I had applied for EAD renewal on Jan 24th '03 thro my lawyer...I finally got my receipts last mid week (12th-13th Mar '03), with RD Jan 28th '03...my check wasnt even encashed yet...

Looks like INS has been slow inbetween - I wonder if its got to do with INS->BCIS transition etc...

I believe there are alot of people who are in similar situation...So probably nothing to worry about, but I can understand how you feel...
 
EAD Receipt

Was just wondering if the issue of Receipts not being sent by
INS still there.

I read somewhere that March cases are not having this problem.

Where is the receipt and approval of EAD sent.

Address in the application ?? or addrss on I-485

EAD Renewal notice received

Mailed the EAD renewal application on 10th march 2003 for self and spouse. Mailed through regular post and paid a postage of just $0.83. Applied directly no lawyer is involved. When I asked my lawyer to file my EAD renewal, he asked me to pay $500. I said 'Fuck you'.


- INS received the app on 12th
- Notice date is 12th
- Cheque encashed on 14th
- Received the notice for both on 17th


How nice if we get a response for all our applications. Hope that day is not far away.
 
EAD Renewal

Hi friends,

Looks like those who file EAD renewal themselves are not getting receipts. Wrong theory though.

I applied for my EAD renewal for me and my wife through our company lawyer on 11th and received receipts for both today 21st.

11 th march or 11 th Feb.
Because we had applied on 10th Feb through our companys lawyer. To me it looks like people who applied in Feb have still not got their reciepts.
Guys do you think its a application fee issue. Becuase we had applied when fee was $88?
