applied for a h1 some concerns

i am currently in the process with the company involved of sorting out my visa to become a soccer coach in the usa. everything was fine until i noticed i have a conviction of failing to stop an accident and report it from march 2007. I received a fine for this and that is it. will this have any effect on my chances of obtaining a working visa? i have no previous convictions.

any help would be much appreciated.

you need to provide details if you are out of US or in US. What happened? Where happened? And what was fine paid or what court documents say or how the case was resolved.
