I was checking my EAD case through AVM and I entered the EAC-01-045-53523(by mistake, as it is not my case). This case is withdrawn as of 6/26/01.

I just wanted to let you guys know as in my own company, the employer has withdrawn 3 cases without informing the employees.

So guys, whomever has this number, check again and I hope you know the recent situation with your case.

I don\'t think the employer can withdraw 485, only the 140.

Any comments ?

Yes you are right, they can only withdraw I-140\'s. I\'m not sure what are the consequences of withdrawing 140 on 485s.

What if the guys never applied for EAD with 485 as in my company\'s case, the guys didn\'t have EADs and there H1 were cancelled.

Ilnow its confusing, beats me...

Can they withdraw an 140 if it\'s already approved ?
Even if that\'s the case, with the new AC21 memo, no new 140 is needed as long
as 485 has been pending for > 180 days, in which case, winthdrawing 140 doesn\'t make any difference.

I saw one posting about CP denied case. It seems employer has more power even if 140 has been approved.

Any comments on that thread.
