Application to remove conditions of Perm residence

Hi, I recieved my green card in October 2005 (marriage to USC). The card expires in Oct 2007. How soon do I have to apply for renewal. I was told atleast 6 months. What forms do I need to use and can I do this myself..I spent a lot of $$ to get my GC and I was wondering if the process of extension is simple, I can do it myself..

if you are still married, you must apply within 90 days BEFORE your card expires. You can't apply before that and you can't apply after that.

You need form I-751 and all of the supporting documents listed in it.
