Application question - Client ID in payer receipt

Hey people, I would need to know which is the ID client they ask us to put in the payer receipt when you play for the application rights & grant.

I have no idea what that number is?

In may cases, you have that on your record of landing - Look at the top right hand corner - you will see an eight digit number something like xxxx-yyyy. That is ur client ID.

If it is not there (it was not in my case), you need to call CIC and ask them to give it to you.
 
I was also told by CIC agent to leave the Client ID blank...and so I left it blank. Don't know whether I did the right thing or not...these CIC agents do not seem to be that reliable/knowledgeble...the one I spoke to said that on average it takes 18 months for the whole citizenship process....she also mentioned I can expect the first acknowledgement in 3 months....but going by this thread it seems acknowledgement letter is sent lot earlier than that......
