Hi

Can anybody tell how long it usually takes to get the response after e-filing for B2 visitor visa extension? Is there any thread that explains the whole process in detail, including the current fee and all?

Hello,

I applied for a B2 visitor extension for my parents-in-law in early July 2009 and received the approval in 30 days from the VSC.

The key is to write a good cover letter explaining the reasons for the extension and provide the right financial documents for backup.

True, provided the reason itself is justified. If the reason is flimsy, it really makes no difference how well the cover letter was written
