Application missing in Chicago DOL

My EB2 RIR case was approved by MI Labor in Late August 2001. Throughout all queries to the system did not show my process in the Chicago database.

Today, my attorney tells me that my case has been misplaced in Chicago and she is working "aggressively" to get my case back on track.

Are there any other people in this situation? What are my options other than waiting like patience on a monument?

This happened to a friend of mine. He said the application was processed and approved in 2 weeks after the lawyer talked to them because it was their (Chicago DOL) fault to misplace the application. Keep asking your lawyer, they are the ones who have to do it.
