Application for EAD renewal

HI there,

Can anyone advise if there is any difference between applying for the first EAD and for the EAD renewal? Are there any additional documents that need to be submitted for renewal?

Also, can one renew his EAD through the new online application?

Enclose the approval document (the big notification letter that came along with the EAD card) for renewal- apart from all the docs that were required for EAD application. If you lost it, enclose a copy of the EAD card.
Yes you can use the online application to do renewal as long as your category is eligible to apply EAD online.
