I am doing the applicaiton for PR for two adults (2*550) and I child (150), adds up to 1250 Canadian Dollars per documents

So do I need to make check in USD or CAD? And how much USD amount for equivalent 1250CAD.

You should do some re-search and read through your application kit, this information will be there in the kit.

You can pay the fee in US$ or CA$, whichever is more convenient. Please dont convert the fee in CA$ to US$ by using the current exchange rate. The fees in US$ is mentioned on CIC Buffalo's website (link mentioned below):

Independent Federal Skilled Worker
Principal Applicant and Spouse - $465
Each Dependent under 22 years - $130
